Thermography training for aspiring green associates

The thermography training is helpful for a company to proceed with an infrared inspection program. The technological advancement had proved that infrared equipment is user friendly.

The thermographers will not only understand the object or the system that is being inspected but also avoid common errors that will influence such observation or inspection. This training will cover the topics of infrared theory, heat transfer concepts, equipment selection and operation, eliminating common error source, overcoming such errors and specific applications.

The homeowners and business owners who try to attempt thermal imaging will not be able to come to right conclusion because they are not trained. The structural thermal imaging professionals will be able to properly interpret the readings and hence will be able to recommend measure to increase efficiency and reduce costs. These certified professionals will be well trained in thermography and also be certified by the ISO.

There are three levels in Thermography training. Level 1 qualified trainer is certified to perform industrial thermographic measurements and basic infrared thermography according to recognized procedures.

A Level 2 qualified thermographer is qualified to perform direct infrared thermography to establish recognized procedures. A Level 3 qualified thermographer is qualified to perform all direct thermographic measurements and analysis.

The basic eligibility for Level 1 is to complete 40 hours of training under an approved program with a pass percent of 75%. The candidate should have worked as an active thermographer for at least 12 months. He or she must have at least 400 hours of cumulative experience in thermography. These criteria changes from a level to level.
